I paid for a groupon deal for and oil change ,fluid check ,tire pressure check ,and etc. and was told it would be an hour so I went to a restaurant next to he business within 15 minutes I was called back and told that I needed to replace my power steering pump and that they could do it for $580 labor plus the part cost so I consulted with my other mechanic and he told me to stop by. So I let them know I would come back I just needed a second opinion. But as I was leaving since it was only 15 minutes into an supposedly hour job they told me my car was ready and nothing else . They put the oil change sticker in my window and I left as I went to my other mechanic he told me that I had no power steering fluid which they failed to mention and also it wasn’t no way they could have check for the power steering pump Because they would have to take the top off my engine which they did not im sure. But TODAY was the worst because after less than 20 days of this oil change my car was acting up and I took it to my mechanic and come to find out I had no oil and my filter was never changed I almost burnt my engine up. I feel that they took advantage because I’m a girl with a newborn so I wouldn’t really notice. What’s worst they didn’t really do anything but take my money and put a sticker in my window . I will be there Monday to discuss matters over thisis ridiculous .
Kierra, I`m sorry that you feel this way. First off, we ALWAYS change the oil filter along with an oil change. We did take the engine cover off to complete our thorough maintenance inspection. That is why we noticed your power steering issue along with the long list of other needs. I would be happy to discuss this issue with you or your mechanic. We would NEVER do anything to ANY persons vehicle knowing we were doing anything less than giving excellent service. Having a new grand daughter in my family, I know the struggles of having a new baby. Our goal for any vehicle visiting our shop is being fair and honest with everyone and telling them what we discovered during our service. That includes letting you know what your vehicle needs to make it safe and reliable. Sometimes the news can be a little overwhelming with everything we are all dealing with, especially with your 14 year old Hyundai with 219,000 miles on it. That said, please call or come by anytime to discuss. And as always, we give a 2 year, 24,000 mile warranty on everything we do. Thanks. Owner, Dave
