Houston Auto Repair

This was my first experience with Auto Doc. I asked Chris to have my 2001 Subaru looked at for an opinion on whether to repair its problems and try to drive for 2-3 more years, or not. I felt that his and the AD mechanic who had examined the car's joint opinion was honest and considered. They said they could repair and guarantee for a limited time the car's known problems but. even if the work was done over time as needed, the cost would exceed the car's value and they couldn't predict what else could happen, or guarantee the years left in the vehicle. So the "repair & maintain" approach would not be advisable. I felt the $50 charged for their conclusion based on a physical exam of the car within and beyond the context of the Subaru dealership's Diagnostic Report ($118), which I showed Chris, was fair & reasonable.

These folks are helpful, fast, and honest.

I left a message overnight asking how soon they might be able to work my car repair in, and received a message promptly the next morning. Within an hour, my car was in the shop, and the work was completed the same day. Chris was helpful, and provided information on what needed to be done next, without any kind of sales push. I'm happy with the work so far, and will be recommending their work to family and friends.

My car broke down directly in front of their shop, and two representatives came over and helped me and stayed after hours to help get my car into the shop. They were very helpful from the beginning, and I had my car back in no time.

When my "check engine" light appeared, they serviced my car immediately without an appointment as they knew I had to make a long trip the following day. They took the time to explain the problem, and the prompt attention was much appreciated.
