I brought my car in for a broken O2 sensor. The quote was around 500$ for diagnostic plus labor and parts which I was okay with. However, later in the day they called and warned that they were not able to get my O2 sensor out of my manifold. They said they would try a few more things to try and get it out. They called a few hours later and said they had tried everything to get it out but that the only way to fix my car was to replace the manifold which was going to cost around 1300$. My car is old that it wasn't worth fixing it. I told him not to fix it, so they put my car back together and I had to pay the diagnostic fee of 140$. I feel they treated me fair and explained the problem with my car. I truly believe they worked hard to try and fix the issue but that maybe there was some extenuating circumstances to my particular car. I would definitely bring my car back again, but am only rating 4 stars. If it had been fixed, definitely a 5 star rating. Chris was a very good salesman and explained everything in detail. Talk to him if you need anything!
Bryan, Thanks for the nice review. We really did put forth a lot of effort to get your car repaired but the sensor just would not budge even with a welding torch that we tried to use. Unfortunately, the part is located in the catalytic converter and cannot be replaced without replacing the whole converter. I hope you understand that we did go the extra mile and will come back when you can afford the repair or need anything else.
